“Metal deck is a structural panel made of corrugated sheet metal,” explains Michael Polizzi, sales manager at A.C.T., in the video titled, ‘What is Metal Deck?’ Like the other videos in this series, this video is one minute long and full of helpful information. While watching we are informed of the differences between metal roof deck and floor deck, as well as composite deck and form deck. Michael also shares the common characteristics of each type of deck including their gauges and how each is finished.  

The ‘How do I Order Metal Deck?’ video goes through the four things you need to know before ordering metal deck. Those being type, gauge (thickness), finish and quantity or total square footage needed. “Each project is unique, and this will help provide an accurate quote,” explains Vince Polizzi, Vice President of Operations at A.C.T. Metal.
