VARP Announces Summer Convention Keynote Speaker

VARP Lisa Sprick
July 15, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.

By Anna Lockhart.

Lisa Sprick, president of Sprick Roofing, has been announced as the keynote speaker for the 2023 VARP Summer Convention.

The Virginia Association of Roofing Professionals (VARP) is pleased to announce that the 56th VARP Annual Summer Convention will feature keynote speaker, Lisa Sprick. Lisa is the president of Sprick Roofing, a family owned business based in Corvallis, Oregon. Lisa joined the company in 1990 and has since made an impact on the roofing industry as an active member of the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) and as a representative on other industry initiatives.

Lisa has been a member of NRCA since 1996 and has served two terms on the association’s executive board and three terms as a part of the board of directors. As a devoted member of the association, Lisa has gone on to chair various NRCA committees that champion important causes in the industry, such as NRCA University, Steep Slope Technical and Workforce Solutions, the Insurance Board of Governors, Future Executives Institute and many more. Her work outside of the NRCA is commendable as well, as Lisa has aided in several task forces throughout the industry such as working with OSHA, speaking before the United States Congress on behalf of the industry and has published her own article, “Is the Customer Always Right?” in Professional Roofing Magazine.

Lisa Sprick has attended, presented at and organized various industry conferences during the last two decades, spanning topics such as business management to industry safety topics. Her contributions to the industry have not gone unnoticed and as an industry leader, Lisa is certainly a speaker who convention attendees won’t want to miss!

The VARP Annual Summer Convention will be held August 2-4, 2023 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at the Delta Hotels by Marriott.
