Editor's note: the following is a message from RCAC.
Dear RCAC Members:
At 11:22 p.m. last night, following the governor's Executive Order to stay home, the State of California website was updated to indicate the following:
"The California State Public Health Officer and Director of the California Department of Public Health is ordering all individuals living in the State of California to stay home or at their place of residence, except as needed to maintain continuity of operation of the federal critical infrastructure sectors, critical government services, schools, childcare, and construction, including housing construction."
This information and more details may be found at https://covid19.ca.gov/stay-home-except-for-essential-needs/.
Later today, we will be uploading to the Members Only section of the RCAC website important documents addressing contract provisions relating to COVID-19, answers to frequently asked questions related to labor and employment concerns, and details of the new paid sick leave requirements following the passage of federal legislation on Wednesday night.
We will inform you as soon as those materials are posted, and will continue to keep you informed as new information is available.
