Throughout the course of the METALCON 2023 tradeshow, there will be a special event taking place on the tradeshow floor you won’t want to miss. Stop by booth #6071 to experience metal working learning sessions yourself!
Sponsored by Sherwin-Willams, the Metal Training Zone is a one-of-a-kind experience that will feature demonstrations and interactive metal lessons led by the metal expert himself, John Sheridan. Owner and founder of Sheridan Metal Resources, John has served the metal roofing industry for several decades. Over the course of three days, John will guide participants through a series of metal working demonstrations and interactive lessons designed to introduce newcomers to the trade.
The booth will be fully staffed with a supportive team of individuals eager to educate curious attendees and to share their knowledge and love for the trade. There will be sessions led in both English and Spanish, as well as representatives from National Women in Roofing (NWiR), providing an opportunity for all show attendees to stop by and learn a thing or two!
For the last twenty years, John has been a trainer, educating and guiding the next generation of roofers. This Metal Training Zone is an opportunity to make metal roofing accessible to anyone willing to learn or for those who are curious about the trade and want to learn more about the process of metal roof installations.
John and the other professionals leading the training zone are eager to provide as many educational opportunities as possible during the three days of the convention. So, for those attending the METALCON convention, make sure to stop by, say hello and maybe try your hand at metal roofing!
