We were all so excited for 2021 to arrive and hopeful that it would bring less chaos and more normalcy. 2020 saw us struggling to secure materials and watching as prices crept up. Our top January story reflects that interest to know just what is going on with material shipments, so we aren’t surprised that the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers’ Association 2020 Q4 Product Shipment Report had the most reads of the month.
It was followed closely behind by our coverage of the Caifornia roofing crew who spotted a brush fire beginning and pulled to the side of the road to battle the small blaze and put the fire out – potentially saving thousands of structures, homes and lives in the process.
The number three spot was captured by how we measure our business success will drastically change in 2021. Revenue is not the only indicator of business success and contractors should consider a new set of key performance indicators for the coming year.
