Top August Stories: Post-frame education, coil coatings and multilingual training

Here’s what’s been trending on RoofersCoffeeShop® (RCS) this past August. 

With more people joining our amazing industry, that means more languages for companies to adapt to! Businesses are much more inclined to offer multilingual training but might not know where to start. That’s why last month, we had multiple articles on multilingual training and management on our top article list! These articles were written by our RCS Influencers, a specially curated group of roofing industry thought leaders. In these pieces, they offer insight on why roofing companies should offer resources to their non-English speaking employees. 

Metal roofing continues to rise in popularity, as does the coil coatings that go with it! One of our most popular articles from last month was a piece by our writer Jesse Sanchez on an episode of CoatingsCast we did with AkzoNobel. The article dives into the history of AkzoNobel, a leader in the coil coatings industry, as well as the science behind their metal roof coating products. 

Our most popular article from last month was a piece by our writer Emma Peterson on The National Frame Building Association (NFBA)’s latest educational webinar series. These webinars tackle many different facets of the post-frame industry and are completely free. The article discusses the webinars that have already been held, but there are more coming this year so keep an eye out for those!
