Top April Stories: Recycled Asphalt, Material Shortages and Race Cars

Here’s what’s trending on RoofersCoffeeShop®(RCS) this past month. 

Material shortages are definitely what’s being talked about throughout the roofing industry this spring with industry experts sharing tips for managing this unchartered situation. It’s no surprise that this made it into our top articles for April.    

Innovations in the industry are always of interest to RCS visitors and that was the case with GAF’s announcement that they have been able to manufacture high-performing shingles using recycled waste asphalt shingles! This could have an impact on the material shortages as it relates to shingles.  

Sustainability was a hot topic as well with articles on why green roofs should be getting the green light and a new innovation that makes green roofs easy by delivering pre-planted and ready-to-go boxes. Another innovation was found in our most popular article that detailed how Kraft Heinz company is testing out their packaging for products like Capri Sun as roofing material.  

And of course, who doesn’t love a race car? ABC Supply’s tribute car to AJ Foyt for this year’s Indianapolis 500 made the top articles too.
