Tips to Survive and Thrive Amidst the Current Crisis

SRS - Tips to Survive and Thrive Amidst the Current Crisis
July 27, 2020 at 6:00 a.m.

By Lauren White, RCS Reporter.

This downloadable brochure will help contractors navigate these unprecedented times.

We can all use as much help as possible as we learn to navigate this “new normal.”  For this reason, SRS Distribution has put together a free downloadable brochure with details on how to survive and thrive.  This short document is designed to provide companies with tips on succeeding during this current crisis.

In four pages, SRS covers tips on mastering the sales process, establishing an action plan, and offering financing options.  With images, bullet points, flowcharts and short descriptions, this document is visually appealing and easy to read.

SRS provides clear suggestions and processes to master the sales process and close the perception gap.  According to the Better Business Bureau, contractors and roofing professionals are amongst the least trusted professions.  To establish yourself as a contractor of choice, SRS recommends sharing your company story so people feel more connected to your company and your mission.

According to SRS, an action plan allows companies to analyze their current situation, determine where they want to be.  Working similarly to a GPS system, an action plan starts with the final goal, or destination, and works backwards to identify variables and actions necessary to achieve that predetermined goal.  One planning tool SRS recommends utilizing is the SWOT analysis, which helps the company determine internal and external strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

In the guide, SRS explains the benefits of offering other financing options to prospective customers, such as reducing sticker shock.  They provide a chart with a Good, Better and Best option for a project, complete with the project price, the financing plan, and the calculated payment for each level of the project.  This is one way to provide customers with their financing options upfront so they can choose the best plan for them.

Utilize this document and find tips to help you and your business survive and thrive during these unprecedented times.
