Our software is no exception, but we have our free-trial structured a little differently to offer you the best assessment experience available. We’re going to take a walk through a RoofSnap trial and show you what to expect in this week’s blog.

We divide into two stages; a 24-hour sneak-peek and a full 14-day trial. We do this for two reasons. First, we know that time is valuable in our industry, and people are busy. An afternoon may be all the time you have to devote to poking around a new software! Our 24-hour sneak peek gets you hands-on with RoofSnap’s web app or mobile apps quickly, with the minimum amount of hassle, (We only ask for an email address to get you started.)

The second reason we offer a 24-hour sneak peek is that it’s all the time you’ll need to try out RoofSnap’s measurement-ordering service SketchOS. We give a free residential order to all our trial sign-ups, and we make placing that order fast and easy! SketchOS measurements are typically turned around in 2 to 4 hours, so a day is all you’ll need to see if our service is right for you!

If you like our service or want to really get to know RoofSnap’s measuring and estimating software, that’s when you should activate your full trial.

Full-Featured Trial

While a day is enough time to experience our SketchOS service, it’s not enough time to see all the features that RoofSnap’s software has to offer. That’s why we offer a 14 day trial on top of our sneak peek. During those 14 days, you’ll have the opportunity to schedule demos, watch online tutorials at your leisure, call our support team for assistance, and access RoofSnap on your computer, tablet, or phone!
Train one-on-one or schedule training for the whole team!

During your trial, you can create unlimited projects, sketch roofs on our provided imagery or upload your own, create reports, order forms, contracts, you name it! You can also order more SketchOS measurements at exclusive subscriber pricing if you prefer ordering reports to sketching your own.

When you activate your full trial, we request more information on you and your business, as well as a payment method. Your trial is free, and the only thing you’ll bill for is if you choose to order more SketchOS measurements, purchase additional HD imagery, or decide to roll into a subscription. If you decide that RoofSnap isn’t for your business, you can cancel your trial at any time from your account page at RoofSnap.com.

If, however, you enjoy your trial experience, there are some steps you should take prior to starting your subscription.

Beyond the Trial

We don’t hold anything back from you during your trial, so there aren’t any features you’ll need to familiarize yourself with when you start a subscription. But to make sure you’re getting the most out of your new software, there are a couple of things we recommend.

Customize your account

When you’ve decided that your business is ready for RoofSnap, you should customize your account by adding your business’s details:

• Upload your logo and add it to your estimates, contracts, and other documents.

• Add your product list and pricing so you can build estimates from your inventory.

• Build out your accounts offices with additional users, custom contract language, and more…   

Get the best price

Depending on your company’s workload and size, you may find significant cost-savings in RoofSnap’s annual plan options. Additional user seats, large amounts of included HD imagery, and other enterprise-focused features sweeten the deal as well.
