In a recent Read, Listen, Watch, Karen L. Edwards sat down with Brynn Wildenauer and Kiki Redhead of Sherwin-Williams to discuss the Architectural FUSE Color Forecast and how contractors and architects can use it to provide their customers with the best color solutions!
The Architectural FUSE Color Forecast is a tool designed to bring a comprehensive report to customers about the color trends experts like Brynn and Kiki have seen across the market and how different colors are making an impact across a variety of market segments within the metal coil and extrusion market. This tool breaks down these trends by materials, manufacturing and even technology so that the conversation extends to each level of how and why different colors are trending.
Why is this significant and why does color matter? Kiki breaks it down, “Our customers really want to have a competitive advantage. They also want not only to have competitive advantage over their competitors, but they also want to be able to offer the latest and greatest finishes and colors and coatings technologies, performance and durability attributes and application processes both in the manufacturing facilities, so for those factory-applied coatings or out on site,” She continued, “So, this is really important not only for us to be able to provide this forward future thinking information, but we find that it is very important and it's very valued by our customers.”
Not only does the report provide color forecasts, but it also breaks down the trends by industry and even regional demographics as well, providing users with every factor possible so that they can get the most accurate color trends to their customers. “We really break it down into how certain colors add value to customers in their region, in their demographic, if they're building barns versus sky rises, those are different animals,” Brynn explained. So, what we do is focus on what the customers' needs are and how they could use the information for the forecast within their own product lines and help them develop the new coatings if the development is needed there. But we focus on educating on what the forecast is, why we're doing it, and then how to apply it to their specific industries.”
The Architectural FUSE Color Forecast offers architects and contractors an invaluable source of insightful information on color trends that can make a huge difference in meeting customer satisfaction and giving their customers that next-level look that sets their building apart from the rest.
