You might have heard of the age-old adage, measure twice, cut once. A similar idea can be applied to ordering your materials; it’s always better to order two samples before ordering one shipment. Samples are critical whether you are working with paint, pavers and window treatments, and the same principle works for roofs. The larger the project, whether a residential or commercial reroof, the more important it is to make sure you are confident in your material choice before ordering the full shipment. Why order samples?

In addition to the cost of materials for a new roofscape, another reason to order a sample is because concrete roof tile colorways can vary slightly from one production run to the next as the roofing material is made of all-natural raw ingredients – those being sand, cement, water and oxide. Even though every effort has been made to ensure the colors in our brochure and on our website closely match the actual roof tile, printing techniques or screen resolution can slightly alter the colors shown, so it is highly recommended that you order samples before placing your order.

If you’re reroofing an existing structure, one more equally important reason to acquire a concrete roof tile sample beforehand is to ensure the shade and profile you are interested in pairs well with the exterior elements of the building. Stucco, stonework, pavers and the color scheme can alter the perception of the product chosen. Should you decide to repaint your home, simply take the Eagle concrete roof tile samples to a paint store of your choice, where a knowledgeable paint professional can create the perfect color palette for you.

How to order eagle roofing products samples

At Eagle Roofing Products, we offer convenient ways to obtain free concrete roof tile samples such as contacting your local Eagle Account Representative or submitting an online request. You may also contact your roofer or local distributor to obtain a sample as well. Our online ordering form allows you to input up to three different tiles, but if you would like to receive more samples, contact your local Eagle Account Representative.

To best serve you, you have the choice to receive a full-size sample or a compact and totable slice box. If you opt for a full-size sample, you will receive a concrete roof tile in the exact size that will be installed on the roof deck. As an added benefit of selecting this style, you’ll have a spare roof tile should you ever need it! On the other hand, our slice box, which contains six slices of concrete roof tile, was created to offer easy portability while still showcasing the vibrant hues you’re interested in.  

No matter which size you choose, you can expect to receive your samples on your doorstep within about five business days.
