Texas Traditions Roofing, a family owned, commercial and residential roofing company serving Central Texas, announced that company President Michael J. Pickel has been honored as one of only five Young Guns in the nation by Roofing Contractor magazine.
Young Guns are described by Roofing Contractor as, “Young roofing professionals [who] continue to redefine their roles in today’s roofing industry – where embracing technology and innovation are at a premium.”
Art Aisner, editor of Roofing Contractor wrote, “With the help of technology, these emerging industry leaders are taking the roofing profession up a notch while still embracing bedrock industry principles like cultivating long-term relationships.”
“It is an incredible honor to be recognized as an emerging leader in the roofing industry and to be in the same company of the other honorees who are all making a mark,” said Pickel. “My generation has grown up with technology as an everyday part of our lives so it makes sense for us to bring this innovative mindset into an industry that will only continue to be elevated by the future workforce.”
As a Young Gun, Pickel was recognized at Roofing Contractor’s Best of Success Conference in December 2022 in Scottsdale, Arizona and featured in the February issue of their digital magazine. Read his full interview here.
