Texas Traditions Roofing, a family owned, residential and commercial roofing company serving Central Texas, is outfitting its crews in red for the month of February to raise awareness about the importance of heart health. In addition, the company is encouraging the community to spread the word via social media by offering giveaways for sharing the message on Facebook.
Texas Traditions Roofing designed special shirts for their crews to wear in support of American Heart Month. “My family has been affected by heart disease and we wanted to do something that would help educate the community about the importance of living a heart healthy lifestyle,” explained Gary Emory, founding partner of Texas Traditions Roofing. “Our crews are out in the community every day and the shirts are a great visual way to spread the word.”
According to the American Heart Association, heart disease is the leading cause of death for men and women in the United States. Every year, one in four deaths are caused by heart disease.
Texas Traditions Roofing will be posting messages throughout the month of February on its social media outlets and will be giving away a red hooded heart sweatshirt each Friday to a random winner who helps to share the message.
