Tennessee Roofing Company Sponsors Animal Shelter and Pays for Adoption Fees

A new dog owner is pleasantly surprised after hearing her adoption fee was covered.  

The company Top This Roofer, part of Top This Construction, LLC out of Chattanooga, Tennessee surprised a new pet owner by paying for her new dog’s adoption fee.  

Top This Construction has recently become a sponsor of McKamey Animal Shelter and decided to contribute to the center by paying for some of the adoption fees. The company agreed to pay for all adoption fees for dogs who have been in the shelter for an extended period of time, who have special needs or require more attentive care from future owners.  

A new dog owner, Sarah, and her newest family addition Bragi, were the first to receive this surprise. A short video shot on July 16 shows Sarah’s arrival at the animal shelter. With a dog toy in hand, she’s more than ready to pick up and bring Bragi back to his forever home.  

McKamey Animal Center didn’t let her in on the surprise until her arrival. The decision to not inform potential adoptees on pre-paid adoption fees is to ensure potential owners are deciding to adopt on their own accord and without any sort of financial incentive. That way dogs continue to go on to happy homes with owners who would’ve paid the adoption fee anyways.  

The employee taking the video tells Sarah about Top This Construction’s generosity and about the company’s new sponsorship for the animal center. The story hit local news not long after the adoption. 

“We had our own Ellen Show moment at the animal center today at MAC. Not only did the fabulous and most loved Bragi find his forever home, but we surprised his new owner when we shared that Bragi's adoption was paid for by Top This Roofer! Staff and volunteers came running when they heard over the PA that Bragi was going home. A sweet moment for all!” McKamey Animal shelter said on Facebook.
