Support Your Industry Through ROOFPAC

NRCA ROOFPAC
May 31, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.

By Cass Jacoby, RCS Reporter

A strong ROOFPAC means a strong voice for the roofing industry. Make an online contribution today!

One of the most impactful actions you can take to positively influence decision makers in Washington, D.C., is to invest in ROOFPAC. Simply put, ROOFPAC is the only federally registered political action committee (PAC) dedicated to supporting pro-growth candidates who support the roofing industry. Contributing to ROOFPAC is key to amplifying your voice and enhancing NRCA’s meetings with lawmakers to address legislation and regulations that affect roofing professionals’ businesses.

Because federal law prohibits PACs from accepting corporate contributions, ROOFPAC donations must come from personal funds. Whether you decide to contribute $25 or $5,000, it is important for  all NRCA members to invest in ROOFPAC at some level. And for the first time, you can support ROOFPAC by making a contribution online!

The new online donating capability, which streamlines the giving process, was made possible with the generous support of:

  • Beacon, Herndon, Virginia
  • Johns Manville, Denver, Colorado
  • Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal, Wheeling, West Virginia
  • King of Texas Roofing Co. LP, Grand Prairie, Texas
  • R&B Roofing LLC, Garland, Texas
  • Roofing Solutions LLC, Prairieville, Louisiana

In addition, there are three ROOFPAC club levels you can join that offer benefits and recognition beyond improved advocacy for the roofing industry, including:

ROOFPAC has been instrumental in passing legislation that affects the roofing industry. Most recently, NRCA, supported by ROOFPAC, led the industrywide effort to have roofing work deemed essential during the early days of the pandemic, shepherded legislation to support the industry’s businesses through the Paycheck Protection Program, and achieved a $45 million increase in FY 2022 funding of career and technical education state grants that will benefit the entire industry.

Make sure your voice is heard; make a contribution to ROOFPAC!

Learn more about NRCA in the association’s RoofersCoffeeShop® Directory or visit www.nrca.net

ROOFPAC is the federally registered political action committee of NRCA, and contributions will be used for political purposes. Contributions to ROOFPAC are not tax-deductible and the name, address, occupation and employer’s name of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 during a calendar year will be reported to the Federal Election Commission. Contributions are voluntary, and you have the right to refuse to contribute without any reprisal.
