Editor's Note: This following announcement is a letter from SOS (Safety Operations Services)
Dear friends and colleagues,
I want to offer a few words of confidence in a particularly, uncertain time. Like you, we here at SOS have been watching the most recent worldwide and national events unfold in amazement and somewhat disbelief. Just the same as all of you we have went through the task of assessing our processes, evaluating the ways in which we work, and enacting our business continuity plan in response to the Covid-19 outbreak. It has always been our business to stay abreast of situations which pose a threat to the safety of the employees or that could impact the businesses of those we serve. This case is no different! In response to this crisis, consistent with our mission and our values we asked ourselves what we can do to help stem the tide for those we serve and others in our industry that are going to be impacted. We have followed the action of our President and his administration closely as they work around the clock to handle the situation. While I truly believe they are doing a great job I am not one who is inclined to look to the government to fix all of our problems additionally, I can’t sit idly by. My team and I have heard the call from our President and his administration! Our country needs businesses to step up and do everything in their power to help solve this issue.
We are all in this together!
We have studied this Virus, its impacts, routes of exposure, and steps for preventing the spread. We have planned ahead and spent the last few weeks rapidly preparing to position ourselves to take the fight to the Virus! . . . . . .
