Show Your Skills, Win Prizes and Support the Industry on the Greens

Celebrate your love for roofing at the Roofing Contractors Association of Washington’s annual golf tournament.

Join the Roofing Contractors Association of Washington (RCAW) on August 28th for their annual golf tournament! The tournament is set to take place at the eighteen-hole, 150-acre Auburn Golf Course.

This beautiful course sits along the Green River and features over 20 bunkers, two fountain ponds and a waterfall. These historic greens consist of a fair, but challenging par 71 course founded by World War II veterans in 1948. The Auburn Golf Course is located at 29630 Green River Rd SE Auburn, Washington 98092.

Join RCAW bright and early at 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. for a putting contest taking place during registration, which will start at 8:30 a.m. and go until 10:00 a.m. Then stretch your limbs and be ready for your assigned Tee-Time at Hole 1 or 10 with the women starting at the red tees and the men starting at the white tees. The play will be scramble-style and every player must use at least two drives. You can also purchase up to two mulligans for five dollars each. The mulligans can be used off a tee shot, fairway shot or a putt.

In addition, each team will have a team captain who is responsible for downloading the GolfStatus app, a free application, and recording the group’s score throughout the game. The winning team will be announced and receive the RCAW trophy as well as a year of bragging rights! And, of course first, second and third place teams will get their medals, some great prizes, and pictures too!

Aside from the game, there will be other golf-related contests to participate in. Show off your golf skills with the closest to the pin contest, longest drive contest, beat the LPGA pro contest and hole-in-one contest in which a spotter will be onsite for verification.

For those less interested in golfing, but still wanting to show their support for the industry, there will be various raffles taking place throughout the tournament. The prizes and the winning ticket numbers will be posted at the tournament table throughout the day. This is also where the winners will collect their prizes. Our dinner will be a bit different this year due to Washington’s current COVID Phase, but that information will be out very soon so everyone will know what small changes to expect.
