The color of a tile roof fades or discolors over time due to exposure to sunlight, rain, pollution, mold, mildew, algae and other natural causes. In order for homeowners to keep up the fresh, clean appearance of their tile roof and home, it is recommended that the tiles be cleaned and glazed periodically to revamp their color and protect them from the elements.
All Points currently brings beautiful roof tiles back to life with their cost-effective tile glazing service. Customers can simply send in a sample of their tile and All Points will match the color and provide a glazing service that will make the tile color pop. If you live in an area where tile roofs are popular, consider adding a tile glazing service to your company.
All Points follows a strict four-step process that guarantees tiles look and perform great for at least 10 years. Their process includes:
Cleaning the tile with RTC5000
Applying the All Points Tile & Slate Hydro-Bond primer
Applying two base coats of color-matched Hydro-Sheen
Applying a clear coat of Hydro-Sheild
One coat of each flash color of Hydro-Sheen
This process ensures that tiles are protected from the weather and maintain their appearance. If certain tile requires flashing or has multiple colors, All Points Tile & Slate can still provide their glazing material with the same attention to detail. The flashing will simply occur between the two base coats of color-matched Hydro-Sheen and the final coat of Hydro-Sheild. To assist in multi-colored roofs, separate Hydro-Sheen coats are used.
Did a customer forget what kind of tile is on their roof?
All Points understands that after a few decades it can be hard to remember if your tile was Adobe Red or French Clay. Their tile experts have over 80 years of experience in the tile industry and take pride in knowing all of the different types of concrete and clay tiles.
