SHELL Roofing Solutions Group Supports Relay for Life

SHELL Roofing Solutions Group has been touched by cancer and formed TEAM SUPERMAN seven years ago to raise funds for Relay for Life.

SHELL Roofing Solutions Group, based in Chino, California hosts a Relay For Life Event every year to raise funds for the Chino Valley Cancer Society. Rudy Guttierez, president and CEO of SHELL, said they formed TEAM SUPERMAN shortly after being introduced to the Cancer Society by his father Raul O. Guttierez seven years ago. Rudy’s daughter, Kristina Guttierez, is the current team captain.

The company hosts a casino night every year where they invite families, employees, clients and vendors to come together for an evening of bingo, casino games and great food, all donated by the SHELL Roofing Team.  This was their fifth year of hosting the casino night.

In addition to the casino night, they support the relay by fundraising and sponsoring the survivors tent during the relay. TEAM SUPERMAN has raised thousands of dollars since they began to supporting Cancer Society. They raise the money in honor of their Mom and Dad who both passed from cancer within the last five years.
