With this success in mind, we want to build on our scholarship legacy by holding our 1st Annual Clay Shoot fundraiser! The Clay Shoot will be held Friday, June 28, 2019, located at Mike Raahauge Shooting Enterprises, 14995 River Rd, Corona, CA 92880. Please consider joining us. You can enjoy clay shooting at any level. It's a sport that can be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of age and physical ability. Men, women and youngsters compete together on equal terms.
This fundraiser, like our Jim Nienow Golf Tournament, supports our RCASoCal scholarship fund.
In 2017, we awarded $24,000 in Jim Nienow Scholarships to family of RCASoCal Members! Last year, we awarded $27,000 in scholarships through our golf tournament, and hope to award even more scholarships through our 1st Annual Clay Shoot to the incredibly deserving candidates looking to achieve their professional dreams.

Byron Aguilar
“In fourth grade my father and I worked on a science fair project that involved electronics,” recalls Byron Aguilar. “At first, I had no idea how to arrange the wires and batteries to make a motor move or a light bulb turn on, but with my father’s help, my love for electronics sparked! In high school, I continued my pursuit of engineering-related activities. After joining the robotics team, I quickly distinguished myself as a knowledgeable and hardworking leader. Being at UCSB has only solidified my dream of becoming an engineer.”
