WSRCA members worked together to determine a real dollar value of their yearly return on investment and calculated that contractors receive an ROI of $38 returned for every $1 invested. The total value of a WSRCA membership is approximately $22,809 based on the amount of quality services members receive.
Joining WSRCA will grant members and their employees access to helpful documents, networking opportunities, e-newsletters, bulletins and more. Members join other first-rate roofing professionals who are committed to the growth of not only their business, but the industry also. The online Member’s Clubhouse is filled with technical and educational documents and over 60 OSHA-approved safety toolbox topics.
Additional member benefits include reduced registration costs for the Western Roofing Expo and discounts on roofing educational products and manuals. Members are able to use the WSRCA logo and membership seal on their websites, marketing materials and bid sheets, adding credibility to your business and differentiating you from the competition.
Legal reference and consultation services are also provided to all WSRCA members. Trent Cotney, the CEO of Cotney Construction Law, serves as the WSRCA legal advisor. Trent “has built a uniquely blue-collar legal firm focused on representing the construction industry” and currently represents over 325 roofing companies. “The team’s expertise, means they know the issues, understand the nuances of defect claims, and are intimate in their knowledge to the extent that they know how roofs are built, with what materials, and what can potentially go wrong,” WSRCA explains.
There are three new member benefits, including access to WSRCA Mobile Safety Solutions and ROOFTALK blog, and the ability to post free job listings on the WSRCA career center, a service that is normally priced at $300. Through the Mobile Safety Solutions website, members have access to WSRCA safety materials in the field including field cards, tailgate talks, and OSHA-related materials. ROOF TALK is a platform for contractors to read and discuss roofing related topics and informative articles with other members online. Posts fall into one of the following categories: safety, technical, legal, business, member in the news, WSRCA updates.
“For the minimal cost of being a member you are going to gain at least four or five fold what you’re paying in membership. The relationships you’re going to build with people who are also members of the association, the education that you’re going to gain, the technical expertise that you’re going to gain, it’s absolutely invaluable,” shared WSRCA member Chuck Chapman, the president of Tecta America Arizona LLC.
Becoming a member of WSRCA, not only will expose members to other like-minded roofing professionals, but also grant them access to multiple resources, committees and materials. From legal counsel to bid stickers, WSRCA provides their members with valuable tools to help them improve their business and the industry.
