ROOFPAC HOSTS EVENTS AT IRE

ROOFPAC, NRCA's political action committee, will host several exciting events during NRCA's 129th Annual Convention and the 2016 International Roofing Expo® (IRE) in Orlando, Fla.

ROOFPAC, the voice of the roofing industry in Washington, D.C., is dedicated to advancing NRCA's government relations agenda on Capitol Hill.  NRCA members are encouraged to show their support for ROOFPAC by participating in the following events.

On Tuesday, Feb. 16, ROOFPAC hosted its annual golf tournament, with Johns Manville as the Grand Patron sponsor, at Tranquilo Golf Club at Four Seasons Orlando. Nearly 100 golfers enjoyed 18 holes of golf on this beautiful course along with food, drinks, fun and prizes.  A great time was had by all participants while significant funds were raised for ROOFPAC.

On Wednesday, Feb. 17, and Thursday, Feb. 18, ROOFPAC will host its Silent Auction at IRE, with GAF as the Platinum sponsor. Stop by the ROOFPAC booth (No. 932), adjacent to the main NRCA booth, and put in your bid on vacations, jewelry and other unique items. All participants will receive complimentary drinks at the open bar sponsored by OMG Roofing Products from 2 to 4 p.m. on Thursday.

On Thursday, Feb. 18, ROOFPAC will hold a reception at Universal Studios sponsored by ABC Supply Co. Inc. Join your roofing industry colleagues for an evening of fun, food, drinks and entertainment at the Red Coconut Club, Orlando's premier nightclub and ultra-lounge. You'll find three bars spread across the club's two levels featuring signature martinis, specialty drinks and an extensive wine list. There also will be an opportunity to go on two amusement rides in the theme park during the event for those who arrive by 7:15 pm.
