Roofing Risk Advisors made a $5,000 donation to become a Signature Sponsor of the Roofing Contractors Association of South Florida’s (RCASF) fundraiser for The Make-a-Wish Foundation of southern Florida. Donations will be used to fully fund the wish of a child struggling with a life-threatening illness. The child will have the opportunity to focus on a dream rather than treatments and hospital stays.
Granting wishes to kids with life-threatening medical conditions gives them more than an amazing experience. A wish come true has the power to make kids feel stronger, more courageous, and more determined to overcome their illnesses. A combined 89 percent of doctors, nurses and health professionals surveyed say they believe a wish experience can influence wish kids' physical health.
“Roofing Risk Advisors and Frank H. Furman Insurance believe strongly in giving back to the community,” stated Rob Foote, President, Roofing Risk Advisors. “We are excited that we were able to contribute to this cause, funding a wish for a sick child. We are also humbled to be a part of this caring industry that came together to raise $100,000 for the children.”
RCASF recently presented the $100,000 check to Make-A-Wish. The contribution makes RCASF the largest non-corporate contributor to the foundation. In addition to Roofing Risk Advisors/Frank H. Furman Insurance, there were ten other roofing companies or service providers who donated at the Signature Sponsor Club level.
