Roofing Jeopardy and Other Continuing Education!

S-5! Roofing Jeopardy
October 30, 2023 at 3:00 p.m.

By Dani Sheehan.

Learn something new by registering for these continuing education courses and understand the history, sustainability benefits and manufacturing of PVC roofing systems.

Are you looking to add more PVC to your business portfolio or get into the low-slope commercial roofing business? IB Roof Systems™ offers a number of continuing education courses to help enhance your knowledge of the roofing industry. Many of them are accredited by the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

The Lunch and Learn course, “PVC: The Industry’s Best Single Ply,” dives deep into how PVC is manufactured, comparing its performance to other thermoplastic single ply membranes. Learn about the history of PVC in building and construction, as well as its performance and safety characteristics. You’ll start to learn about the installation process, but if you want a class committed to installation considerations, try the “How to Specify PVC Membrane Roofing.” You’ll learn the design process and implement how to specify PVC membrane roof systems.

Try your luck at “Roofing Jeopardy – Low-slope Commercial Roof Design Considerations” and explore the design, benefits and installation of PVC roofing systems. This course focuses on three key components of a PVC project, including proper design, workmanship and the importance of quality products. Test your knowledge of the history and sustainability of these systems and make sure you can properly describe quality assurance measures.

You can also learn more about IB Roof Systems and their process for project delivery. While not AIA/IIBEC approved, their course, “The IB Way: Discover the Difference” offers an in-depth understanding of their products and authorized applicator program. You can also register for notifications on upcoming Lunch and Learn courses to make sure you’re always ahead of the curve on the latest roofing knowledge.

You won’t want to miss IB Roof Systems’ continuing education series. Read more about each course and register to participate with your crew!

Learn more about IB Roof Systems in their Coffee Shop Directory or visit www.ibroof.com.
