Employees are the heart of every roofing contractor’s business. It’s the employees who represent the business to customers, who ensure the quality of the work and build and maintain relationships in the community.
Chances are that while most of your employees are great, you’ve got that one who stands out. You know the one – they have a strong work ethic, they demonstrate leadership, take initiative and are resourceful; they have an outstanding safety record and provide exemplary support for their co-workers.
It’s time to honor that special employee for his or her exceptional work and contributions to the roofing industry by nominating them for a Most Valuable Player Award. The Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award Program identifies and honors 10 outstanding roofing workers each year.
Do you have a field team member who does an outstanding job? Do you have an associate who volunteers their time in the community? Do you have an exceptional warehouse manager with an outstanding safety record? Nominate them today!
The MVP Award was developed 18 years ago to identify outstanding roofing workers who represent the best the industry has to offer – as roofing professionals and human beings. The MVP Program is open to all NRCA members (contractors, manufacturers, distributors or suppliers) for all of their employees from field workers to warehouse employees to drivers and equipment operators.
Since the MVP program began, 617 workers have been nominated, 124 nominees have been chosen as finalists and 130 winners have received expense-paid trips to NRCA's annual conventions where they were formally recognized.
One of this year’s MVP winners will be selected for the Best of the Best Award, sponsored by Professional Roofing and OMG Roofing Products. The Best of the Best winner received an additional award and is featured in a Professional Roofing article.
Get started today – identify your nominee and download the application materials here. Deadline for entries is November 18, 2016.
