The Roofing Alliance has issued a call to all roofing contractors to submit showcase projects for the 2021 Gold Circle Awards program. It recognizes unique roofing-related projects (commercial or residential), programs and services completed between June 1, 2018 and May 31, 2020.
“I have always been in support of competitions such as the Gold Circle Awards as it really throws out a challenge to roofing contractors to undertake jobs that require specialist skills and attitude,” states Bill Mansell, managing director of Chadwick Technology Pty Ltd. and a previous winner. “To receive a Gold Circle Award from a prestigious organization such as the Roofing Alliance confirms the pride that our workers and construction managers have both in our company and the achievement.”
To be considered for a Gold Circle Award, Roofing Alliance and NRCA members are nominated by their peers and community (self-nominations are not accepted) for significant contributions to the roofing industry in two categories:
Outstanding workmanship and innovative solutions
Outstanding workmanship and innovative solutions apply to steep slope, low slope and metal projects that exceed standard roofing practices—a submitted project must be unique, creative and useful.
Safety preparedness and performance
Safety is integral to a successful roofing project. This award exemplifies safety preparedness, execution and review.
All entries will be evaluated by a panel of judges within the roofing industry. The highest-ranking entries will determine the winner. For details and an entry form, visit the Roofing Alliance website at www.roofingalliance.net The deadline for Gold Circle Awards entries is Oct. 23.
