The Roofing Alliance, celebrating 25 years as the foundation of the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), announces the retirement of Bennett Judson and the appointment of Alison LaValley as the new Executive Director of the Roofing Alliance.
Working with NRCA for over 40 years, Judson began her career at National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) in administration and soon moved into leading the NRCA meetings and convention department including the yearly NRCA tradeshow. Known for her attention to detail and her larger-than-life notebook that contained every possible detail about the convention, Judson was recognized throughout the industry as the leader and representative of the NRCA convention.
Bennett became the Executive Director of the Roofing Alliance in 2003. “Very few people know how hard Bennett worked to build the Roofing Alliance into what it is today,” states Bill Good, former CEO of the NRCA. “She has always led with grace, style and humor.”
Alison LaValley, who has worked with the Roofing Alliance in development and membership for many years will step into the Executive Director position. LaValley also has a long and established career with the NRCA for more than 30 years and is well known and respected in the roofing industry. Jessica Priske, who has worked with Judson in both meetings and the Roofing Alliance, will continue her involvement with the Roofing Alliance along with moving into the position of directing and managing NRCA meetings.
"Bennett’s dedication to our industry shows in many achievements that span more than 40 years of service to NRCA, with the past 17 years spent leading, serving and growing the Roofing Alliance’s philanthropic and educational initiatives," stated Reid Ribble, NRCA CEO. “She will continue to work with the Roofing Alliance on special projects and programs supporting LaValley and Priske in their evolving roles.”
