RoofersCoffeeShop, the award-winning place where the industry meets for technology, information, and everyday business, is pleased to welcome American Roofing Educators (ARE). ARE provides real-world content in a brand-neutral setting that appeals to industry stakeholders of all roles and experience levels.
ARE believes that the lack of brand-neutral training has led to a gap in knowledge for those working in the roofing industry. This gap often leads to roofing projects that fail prematurely due to lack of knowledge, options, analysis or investigation by all or some associated stakeholders. These failures create bad will in the marketplace, wastes money and resources, and increases cost of ownership and operating for all parties.
Led by industry veteran John T. Hull, ARE brings more than 25 years of experience in the roofing industry. John was the former president and operator of Hull Roofing and served as global sales and technical director for Sherwin-Williams Roofing Solutions Group. His roofing restoration expertise has contributed to roofing projects at NFL stadiums, airports, universities, hospitals, military bases and even the White house.
ARE's John Hull holds the following certifications and professional affiliations:
ITC Certified Thermographer
Only Instructor in North America authorized by Tramex to offer Impedance Roof Moisture Survey Certifications
Licensed Nuclear Moisture Gauge Operator – Certified Radiation Safety Officer
RRO level roof consultant and member of IIBEC (Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants)
Voting Member ASTM D08 Roofing Committee
BEC-W Building Envelope Certified in Waterproofing
RoofersCoffeeShop is proud to welcome American Roofing Educators.
