RoofersCoffeeShop® Launches Lunch & Learn Series

RCS Lunch & Learn
January 12, 2022 at 9:00 a.m.

The educational series is the first in the roofing industry to focus on education for team members who work inside the office.

RoofersCoffeeShop®, celebrating 20 years as the award-winning website where the industry meets for technology, information and everyday business, announces the launch of its Lunch & Learn educational series designed with roofing contractors’ office support teams in mind.

“Most on-demand learning options available in the roofing industry are geared toward sales professionals or the roofing crews in the field,” said Heidi J. Ellsworth, president of RoofersCoffeeShop. “We wanted to bring learning opportunities to the inside teams who are the handling the day-to-day operations of the business. These are the teams who are talking to customers daily, purchasing roofing products, estimating; they are often the face of company.  We want to help bring these teams new and established product education so they can share options, ideas and best practices with their customers.”

The on-demand videos can be easily watched during a lunch break and have clearly defined learning objectives to help viewers decide which topics are most relevant to their team. A learning guide is available to encourage discussion, providing key questions about the information in the video. Lunch & Learn video will be released the second week of every month. The Coffee Shop will be encouraging roofing companies to send in their Lunch & Learn team photos to be published on RoofersCoffeeShop and possibly shared in the Week in Roofing.

The first Lunch & Learn in the series is presented by Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc. a subsidiary of Tremco Roofing & Building Maintenance with a focus several topics including how company culture and community involvement can be a key part of company expansion, offering safety practices and equipment to customers and safety technology on the roof.  This informative learning experience will be available under the Read Listen Watch navigation on RoofersCoffeeShop.com starting January 12, 2022.
