Roofers from across the country share why they love composite slate roofs.

You’ve heard it from sales people for years. Composite slate and shake roofing has the edge in the marketplace. Realistic-looking, low-maintenance, long-lasting. This is the product that homeowners appreciate and are willing to invest in for their future. They’re correct, but isn’t it their job to say that?

Slate look without the weight 

In Gonzales, Louisiana, Matt Greenwich recently transformed an asphalt roof into a showpiece home using Province™ Slate tile. The 12-inch wide single-width composite roofing tile has a fixed 8-inch exposure.
