Roofer Chicks Making Headlines With Upcoming Good Morning America Appearance

Tune into Good Morning America for a segment about the groundbreaking roofing company, Roofer Chicks. 

Woman-owned roofing company, Roofer Chicks, recently announced that they will be featured on Good Morning America on Friday, July 14 between 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. CDT! The contracting company has been making waves in the roofing industry for the past 15 years now, largely because their staff is made up of 75% women. Soon, they will be featured on a women in roofing segment on Good Morning America, the most-watched morning show. 

In a Facebook post announcing their upcoming segment, Roofer Chicks stated they are excited to share their story and the strides they’ve made towards gender equality in the roofing industry. “We can't wait to share our story, expertise and passion for roofing with a wider audience while inspiring others to break barriers and follow their dreams,” they said. 

Roofer Chicks primarily serves the New Braunfels and San Antonio area in Texas. They offer a variety of services, including residential and commercial roofing as well as roof repairs and window replacements. In 2022, they began offering handyman services for siding, flooring, drywall, decks and more! 

Ami Feller, the owner of Roofer Chicks, can’t wait to show what her team can do on Good Morning America. Not just because she gets to show the world her award-winning roofing company, but she also wants to show other women that it is possible to make it in this male-dominated industry. 

"I would love to show other women that there's this whole other world that they don't even think about of how they could make a living that's fun," she told MySA. “Women get stuck in a box of what they can and they can't do and honestly, they give up and just resign themselves to whatever life they feel like they're destined to lead. For me, it (roofing) was a way out."
