Roof Hugger Offers Webinars

Learn about metal-over-metal roofing in this six-part webinar series.

Whether you’re a roofing contractor, design professional, or facility manager or owner, there are always opportunities to learn.  New knowledge can take you and your company to new heights by increasing the reach of your business and allowing you to “...participate in a very small market without a lot of competition,” Roof Hugger explains in their recent newsletter.

Roof Hugger specializes in metal-over-metal retrofit roofing.  They are the leading company to install new metal roofs over existing metal roofs.  And the existing roof doesn’t even have to come off for this to happen! The types of roofs that typically get this retrofit sub-framing system, are, “...older metal roofs that have reached the end of their expected service life or have experienced a ‘quick death’ due to neighboring facilities, faulty installation or a multitude of other reasons,” Roof Hugger discloses.  Their structural sub-framing systems are well-known and available everywhere. Nationwide and abroad, Roof Hugger has installed over 85-million square feet of their products on metal roofs.

Roof Hugger is offering six different opportunities to learn more about the metal-over-metal retrofit roofing market.  And they’re only 30 minutes long!  

The first one is happening this month.  RH1 on September 26 is all about Getting a Good Estimate.  There are some things you should know and carefully examine at building locations in order to receive a precise estimate from Roof Hugger.  “Don’t guess at anything having to do with the existing roof and its support system,” Roof Hugger suggests.

Two webinars are offered in October.  RH2, Retrofitting for Energy, will come out October 10.  In this webinar you’ll learn how a new roof can possibly pay for itself.  Roof Hugger explains how you can gain significant energy saving benefits by adding “...some inexpensive options to the retrofit roofing project.”  On October 24, RH3 will enlighten you on Selling Retrofit Roofs. This market of metal-over-metal retrofit is an appealing one for contractors to get into.  Roof Hugger shares there is, “...approximately 29 BILLION square feet of metal roofs out there that are 30 to 50 years old.”

RH4 and RH5 webinars are in November.  Retrofit Roof Benefits will be available November 7.  Metal roofs have a service life of over 60 years thanks to the metal roof system offerings today.  On November 21 Roof Hugger will share about their number one competitor when it comes to metal-over-metal retrofitting.  Titled Metal Roof Retrofit Versus Conventional Re-Roofing, you’ll learn the drawbacks to conventional re-roofing and why building owners should avoid this option.

The sixth and final webinar, Retrofit Roof Design for Wind and Snow, comes out December 5.  This webinar, RH6, “...deals with the most important step in achieving a roof that will withstand its governing building code requirements,” according to Roof Hugger.  They also want to reassure you that they’ll take care of this step for you.
