ADESO Technology has changed the industry for modified bitumen roofing systems. The self-adhered membranes provide weathertight protection on one side while reinforcing the bottom side with extra strength adhesive. These membranes allow the design to be customized to work on a variety of surfaces. With Polyglass, you can deliver versatile solutions and maximum roof design flexibility for any project.
Some benefits of ADESO technology include:
The self-adhered modified bitumen features Polyglass’ proprietary SA compound which outperforms the competition in every third-party test. They also provide extended protection by offering the most reliable warranties in the industry. Read about these project case studies to learn more about their superior performance and long-lasting durability.
Cape Coral Condominiums – Polyglass was the clear brand of choice for this 200,000-square-foot re-roofing project in Cape Coral, Florida. A multi-building residential complex located in an area prone to occasional hurricanes and tropical heat, the owners needed a roofing underlayment system that was conducive to steep-slope tile roofs and would be highly rated for extreme temperatures and wind resistance. Using a two-ply system of Polystick MTS Plus and Polystick TU MAX, the combination of a dual-compound self-adhered underlayment with a rubberized asphalt waterproofing membrane provided the roof thermal stability, excellent waterproofing and customer satisfaction with a 30-year warranty.
Waianae District Park Gym – A highly used public building in Honolulu, Hawaii, this gym roof had become damaged over time with water leaks and electrical issues, resulting in the closing of the second floor. They were able to repair the roof with Polyglass’ SBS multi-ply modified bitumen roof system just before the 2018 hurricane season, which allowed the building to be used as an evacuation center on the island. As Rocky Rivera of Leeward Roofing and General Contracting states, “We selected a Polyglass roof system for this project because they are also a one-stop shop, providing membranes and roof coating solutions that are backed by long term warranties. We also have the same values, which allows us to work well together.”
