Sika Reviving University Gutters
April 30, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.

By Sika.

Learn why Sikalastic® RoofPro was the ideal choice for gutter repairs on this university building due to its versatility and ease of use.

For gutter repairs at this East Coast university, the choice was clear: Sikalastic® RoofPro. Its proven success on a campus in Providence, Rhode Island led the Engineer of Record back to Sika®. The handy Sikalastic®-641 Lo-VOC made working in tight spots simple, and the expert team behind the job promised a long-lasting, leak-free finish.

The Engineer of Record, already familiar with the high performance of Sikalastic® RoofPro from previous projects at the University, opted for it once more for an intricate gutter repair job. With access to the high gutters made possible through an aerial lift, the product of choice was Sikalastic®-641 Lo-VOC, prized for its mobility, versatility and effective use in constrained areas. Available in both 5-gallon pails and 50-gallon drums, Sikalastic RoofPro proved ideal for sealing different surfaces like metal and EPDM, ensuring a seamless, fully reinforced waterproofing system after initial patches to the EPDM.
