The Chateau at Nemacolin resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania is known for its lavish looking exterior. But when the hit TV show “The Bachelor” decided to film there, the management team knew it was time for an upgrade.
Over time the resort’s original roof began to look less than luxurious. To bring back the outstanding style of the resort, the management team selected DaVinci Roofscapes composite slate roofing as the product of choice for the massive mansard roof replacement.
In this article from DaVinci Roofscapes, the roofing contractor, Burns & Scalo, shares how they installed DaVinci slate products to complete the roof replacement. Adam Galis, Burns & Scalo’s vice president and general manager, stated,
“As a high-end luxury resort, visual appeal was a critical component in the selection process of a replacement roof. This is a mansard roof application, so it’s a feature part of the structure. Our client wanted a roof with visual appeal. To us it was clear that DaVinci Slate would meet that desire.”
