Parker Stubbs (19) passed away on December 2, 2022 due to complications caused by Friedreich’s Ataxia. Parker is the son of David Stubbs, assistant technical director at Sheffield Metals, CRA Training Center Metal Instructor, longtime CRA member and friend of the roofing industry.
Friedreich’s Ataxia is a rare disease that causes progressive nervous system damage and movement problems. The charity the family has chosen is the Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance. FARA's Mission is to marshal and focus the resources and relationships needed to cure FA by raising funds for research, promoting public awareness and aligning scientists, patients, clinicians, government agencies, pharmaceutical companies and other organizations dedicated to curing FA and related diseases.
Please keep David and his family in your thoughts during this difficult time. May Parker rest in peace.
A private ceremony was held on December 12.
