My first go-to when I am having a business crisis is to reach out to my network of fellow construction company owners. I cannot stress enough how important it is to have a mentor or several in this industry. I can guarantee that someone else has been through what I am going through and will have some advice for me.
The second place I would go to would be industry associations or publications. There are so many resources out there for contractors through local roofing associations, or the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA).
Lastly, and this one might not be as popular, but facebook groups. I would not post any confidential information on a facebook group, but posting a question like, "Does anyone know someone in the XYZ field who can give guidance on an issue I am having," can also be very beneficial. The reach is so far with social media groups and you can build a network of mentors that way as well.
