RCI Foundations #GivingTuesday is December 3

It’s almost that time again. What time, you ask? Time to get ready for the largest global giving day of the year—Giving Tuesday!

We’re excited to be a part of this worldwide event by providing a chance to give back to our community. This year the RCI Foundation (soon to be RCI-IIBEC Foundation) will be focusing our efforts on raising money to support students in our industry.

This #GivingTuesday, Facebook will match up to $7M in donations to U.S. nonprofits. Each organization is eligible for up to $20,000 in matching, which starts at 8 AM and goes until FB's funds are depleted. So, if you are an IIBEC supporter who uses Facebook, plan to give as close to 8 AM Eastern as possible in order to take advantage of Facebook's matching! We will put up a donate post on the IIBEC Facebook wall (facebook.com/IIBEC2020) a few minutes beforehand, so you can be ready to click the button at 8:00:01!

Your donation will go to the student scholarship funds:
• Robert W. Lyons Scholarship Fund
• Lewis W. Newlan Educational Fund
• IIBEC Convention Student Participation Fund
