In a live interview at the 2024 International Roofing Expo in Las Vegas, Karen Edwards sat down with Nicholas Camardo from A.C.T. Metal Deck Supply to discuss the latest updates from the brand and the importance of providing contractors with quality customer service and delivery times.  

A.C.T. Metal Deck Supply specializes in providing roofing contractors across the country with Roof Deck, Composite Floor Deck, Form Deck and Specialty Deck for their project needs. In addition to providing customers with metal decking, they also specialize in offering project management services for larger metal project needs.  

Nicholas shared, “We primarily work with commercial roofers who specialize in re-roofing projects. So, when they’ve taken a roof apart and notice that the metal deck is rusted or needs to be replaced, that’s where we come in.” He continued to explain that, while that roof is open and exposed, contractors are on a time crunch to get the parts they need to properly restore the structure, meaning they are relying on A.C.T. to get them the right products they need in a timely fashion. 

“We keep a full inventory on hand so that they can pick up the things they need in the same day, or we can deliver the materials directly to their jobsite,” he shared. “If they need help identifying the existing deck materials, we can help there as well and get them what they need.” 

With such quick turnaround times being a necessity when working with re-roofing and metal deck, it’s incredibly important that the A.C.T. crew provide their customers with what they need, when they need it. That reliability factor is crucial to success for both their business and their customer’s, which is why many contractors rely on their services to get the job done.
