CompanyCam’s Nick Brouillette sits down with RoofersCoffeeShop® for a LIVE! Interview at FRSA to talk about how technology can ensure that nothing falls in between the cracks in your business.
“What we do is help contractors to organize their photos, making it very easy to streamline that process of when anyone is taking photos,” says Nick, explaining what CompanyCam does. “We're a cloud-based software, so everything is organized within a project immediately. They're able to make those photos very clear and concise on what's going on and annotate the photos, making the whole organization process for photos easy.”
Technologies like these are obviously beneficial to business, as they build efficiency and make things like documentation easy. Nick says that he sees technology as a great way to cover your bases, having impeccable photos and documentation is a gamechanger in terms of bringing down your risk.
“Insurance work is something that we get a lot of people that love us for because they're able to kind of cover themselves,” says Nick. “They're able to have those photos, those things to document when the photo was taken, to help with any disputes with customers and to easily send stuff over directly to the insurance companies.”
This is just one of the many ways that technology can help make life easier for the contractor and help them save time and money. Nick says that CompanyCam is looking to integrate with more partners and software to ensure that jobs go smoother and that contractors can always have the best documentation. “We're not a CRM platform, so we want to work well with other people and let them figure that out. They're the experts in that, and we'll continue to be the experts with the photos,” says Nick. “It’s all about making life easier for those contractors, helping them save some time, save some money.”
