Partners Matter When Choosing Tech Solutions for Your Business

Accurence - Partners
July 8, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.

By Karen L. Edwards, RCS Editor.

The technology solutions you use to run your business must be able to work together.

Choosing a technology company that has the right partnerships matters. You’re probably using several different software programs to run your business. Having them be able to work together and sync information and data can save hours of time.

Contractors who are working to repair damage that is being covered by an insurance claim are familiar with the back and forth that is common between insurance companies, adjusters and contractors. Technology began to play a role in bringing everyone on to the same page in 2008 when EagleView pioneered the aerial measurement movement and we soon began to see contractors and adjusters agreeing on the measurement of the roof.

While this was a step in the right direction, there were still some technology challenges that would require dual, manual entry into different software programs. For instance, a contractor may have a preferred estimating software that they use but insurance companies want the repair estimates done in Xactware’s Xactimate, which a contractor may or may not know how to use.

After seeing these challenges as an inspection company working with major insurance carriers and top contractors, Accurence evolved their business into a software-as-a-service model that pioneered onsite inspection and scope automation software for wind and hail claims. They also formed strong partnerships with the main companies providing technology solutions for the storm restoration industry.

Industry partnerships

Accurence’s partnership with Xactware means that your inspection data from SettleAssist® or ScopeAssist® automates a draft estimate in seconds. The integration includes Roof Insight orders, captioned photo storage, logistical estimate structure and line item notes.

If you rely on EagleView for your aerial measurements, the partnership allows for your EagleView measurement data to seamlessly integrate within ScopeAssist or SettleAssist and delivers a value-added solution for data consumption.

GAF is also a partner with Accurence to provide insurance claims technology to thousands of members of the Master Elite and Certified network of roofing contractors.

Support matters

The team at Accurence started in the field. They understand the challenges that contractors face. To stay on top of the changes and learn from their users, they conduct regular ride-alongs with their users and study the evolution of processes. When you become a customer of Accurence, you are assigned a main contact who works closely with you to ensure the best user experience possible. They also help you successfully implement the technology into your business and provide a seven-day-a-week call center to help keep your business running smoothly.
