Continuing education is key in the roofing industry, especially as technology continues to grow and change. But it can be challenging to fit training into the busy day-to-day schedules of those working on the roof, which is what inspired this collaboration between the Roofing Alliance and Clemson University. The result? A series of state-of-the-art roofing industry training programs designed to nurture, retain and propel essential talents while lowering training expenses. And you can learn more about it during an RLW webinar on August 7, 2024, at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET!
There are three courses in this series and all are available online. Once enrolled, students have a 60-day window to complete each course at their own pacing! Once finished, students receive a certificate of completion, jointly conferred by The Nieri Department of Construction, Development and Planning at Clemson University and the Roofing Alliance. For those who complete all three courses, they will get a special “Roofing Professional Management” certificate! This is a great opportunity for people across the industry, from companies looking for professional development programs to associations needing resources for members and individuals who want to expand their own knowledge with continuing education.
To get more information on this amazing opportunity, The Coffee Shops are hosting a live Read Listen Watch (RLW) webinar with Roofing Alliance Executive Director Alison LaValley, Greg Bloom, past Roofing Alliance president and VP of national sales for Beacon Building Products and Dhaval R. Gajjar of Clemson University! The panel will discuss where these high-quality courses originated and how they were designed to best serve the students. They will also share a bit about the courses themselves and what students can expect to take away from their experience. Finally, they will help attendees and viewers learn how to sign up for the courses and go to roofing school this fall!
