Owens Corning 2023 Roofing Platinum Conference Recognizes Contractors and Honors the Service of Military Families

Awards presented during the annual gathering recognized Platinum Contractors’ outstanding performance in a number of areas including sales volume, safety, sustainability and community service.

The outstanding business performance and community service contributions of Owens Corning Roofing Platinum Preferred Contractors were honored during an awards ceremony held on April 4, at the 2023 Owens Corning Roofing Platinum Conference. Awards presented during the annual gathering recognized Platinum Contractors’ outstanding performance in a number of areas including sales volume, safety, sustainability and community service.

“As they serve their customers, employees and communities, Owens Corning Roofing Platinum Preferred Contractors show up and give back in ways that support neighborhoods, homeowners and individuals across our nation,” said Mike Schneider, Owens Corning’s Contractor Program Director. “We are honored to recognize this exceptional group of men and women for their steadfast leadership, uncompromising integrity and relentless commitment to pursuing ever higher levels of excellence.”

Giving back to honor veterans, military members and their families has become a signature element of the Owens Corning Roofing Platinum Conference. Attendees at the 2023 event stuffed 2,500 “Battalion Buddies” to wrap up the conference on a service note. The plush bears will be distributed to the children of deployed service members by Operation Gratitude. “Having an opportunity to honor the service of deployed military personnel as well as express our gratitude to their families at home is a critical part of the Platinum Conference,” said Schneider. “The annual philanthropy project is always a highpoint for contractors and reflects their big hearts and gratitude for the service members who protect our country.”
