By National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA).
The NRCA was recently honored by the International Society for Performance Improvement for their ProCertification® program. ProCertification® has been key to improve workers’ performances, proven by winning the Award of Excellence for Outstanding Human Performance Intervention this year.
The ISPI awards celebrate and showcase people, products and innovations that symbolize excellence in Human Performance Technology. The award scoring criteria is based on the 12 domains of ISPI’s certification program, the Certified Performance Technologist and NRCA ProCertification met all 12 of the criteria standards.
The award reflects the collective effort of the roofing industry to improve its workforce. NRCA rallied all roofing industry stakeholders around a vision of improving and overcoming the industry’s workforce crisis and other NRCA initiatives—such as Training for Roof Application Careers, NRCA’s OneVoice Initiative and work involving career and technical education—contributed to the effort.
ISPI is a nonprofit membership organization that uses evidence-based performance improvement research and practices to effect sustainable, measurable results and add value to stakeholders in the private, public and social sectors. Its members and audiences include military and government agency training developers, as well as large international corporate training department staff at companies such as Boeing, Caterpillar, Baxter, Jet Blue and Walgreens.
