Located in the fast-growing city of Jacksonville, North Carolina, the River of Life Church has seen a significant growth in the number of local residents joining their congregation. To better host and cater to their now hundreds of members, the church made the decision to significantly expand their campus.
As many residents of Jacksonville are young and in their early 20s, and there is an established population of military members and their families from the nearby Camp Lejeune, the church leadership had a modern look in mind for their new facility’s exterior. Dunn & Dalton Architects brought to life their vision to life with PAC-CLAD metal panels in three varying styles all coated with Sherwin-Williams Coil Coatings Fluropon® in the Matte Black and Cityscape colors, giving the exterior a depth and texture that made the minimalist color palette pop against the surrounding landscape.
The new church is quite a vision, delivering a modern and functional design that will appeal to the masses of the local community and current members of the congregation. The new facility received an overwhelming response and a wonderful crowd turnout for the grand opening, having opened its doors to nearly a thousand members of the River of Life Church at the first service in the new building.
