New XL Gutter from MTL Holdings is the Largest GT-1 Tested System on the Market

The new XL Gutter ranges from 8” to 14” wide and offers contractors a quality solution with easy and quick installation!

MTL Holdings has announced the latest expansion in their gutter product line, the XL Gutter. The XL Gutter is the largest GT-1 tested gutter on the market – measuring up to 14” – and was designed to withstand harsh weather conditions and meet the ANSI/SPRI GT-1 Standard for Gutter Systems used with low-slope roofs. The XL gutter is a wind-resistant system designed with jobsite efficiency and installation time in mind.

When designing the XL Gutter, the MTL Holdings engineers wanted to create a product that not only offered a larger sized solution, but also made the installation process easier for crews in minimizing the effort needed to install as well. Contractors are able to install the z-bracket either in the shop or on the roof before lowering to the edge. With those needs in mind, the XL Gutter reduces installation time by 30-60% and increases jobsite productivity by allowing crews to spend more time on other tasks.

This innovative gutter system is designed to withstand wind uplifts and harsh weather, made from 2” wide, heavy aluminum z-bracket and a lower mounting hanger that ensures the system is ready to stay put in the harsh weather conditions it may face. The system is a sturdy solution and does not require external brackets or wind straps like other traditional systems. By being GT-1 tested, the XL Gutter system carries a 30-year 160 MPH wind warranty, guaranteeing it to be a quality and durable investment!

The XL Gutter is now available through both the Metal-Era and Hickman Edge Systems brands.
