One of the pillars of National Women in Roofing (NWIR) is education, with the goal being to create high-quality learning programs and experiences so people can build successful businesses and roofing careers.
Please save the date for Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018, in New Orleans for National Women in Roofing Day (preceding the International Roofing Expo®), which will include a series of workshops focused on various topics related to education, mentoring, networking and recruiting new women professionals into the roofing industry.
In addition, Jennifer Keegan and Courtney Bynum of the NWIR Education Committee soon will present a webinar, "Roofing Industry Careers for Women—How to Get Your Foot in the Door … and why you want it there in the first place." Would you like to diversify your staff and learn how to recruit, train and place women on roofing-oriented career paths? Or have you ever felt as though you're the only female in the "male and stale" roofing industry? Tune into the webinar to learn how to address these issues.
NWIR membership is an exceptional value. There is strength in numbers, and membership is only $60 dollars annually. Please join us!
