National Roofing Legal Resource Center Announces 2019 Legal Seminar

NRLRC 2019 Legal Seminar
June 30, 2019 at 6:00 a.m.

New York City will provide the backdrop to an extraordinary three-day legal learning experience.

The National Roofing Legal Resource Center (NRLRC), in conjunction with the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), is proud to announce NRLRC’s 40th Anniversary Seminar, Roofing Issues: Decks to Dockets, will take place in the Big Apple on September 18-21, at the New York Hilton Midtown, New York City.

NRLRC’s annual seminar allows attendees to share ideas and best practices, find solutions to problems, and build a lasting professional support network and business relationships that will thrive after the seminar.

New York City will provide the backdrop to an extraordinary three-day learning experience that offers roofing contractors 13+ hours of in-depth legal, contractual, technical and business information that can’t be found anywhere else.  In addition, contractors will discover 5-10 new ideas that can be implemented immediately upon their return to the office.

“Contractors will have the opportunity to learn from some of the roofing industry’s brightest experts while interacting with their peers in a hands-on format,” stated Alison LaValley, NRLRC’s executive director. The seminar features legal experts Stephen Phillips, Phillip Siegel, and Trent Cotney, as well as roofing industry experts Rene Dupuis, Reid Ribble, Mark Graham and Tom Shanahan.

As they continue with their commitment to educating roofing contractors, NRLRC and NRCA have consistently upgraded their seminar experience, and this year’s 40th Anniversary Seminar will be no exception. Attendee registration fees (NRCA Members - $995, Nonmembers - $1,595 and Spouse/Guest - $255) include three days of educational sessions, handout materials, an opening luncheon, two hot buffet breakfasts, breaks and receptions on both Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Spouses and guests also are welcomed and encouraged to attend, and a registration package is available for meal events and receptions.

“Legal issues are a fact of life in the roofing industry, and we need to make the most of every resource available,” stated Matthew Leonard, NRLRC president. “We encourage CEOs, owners, COOs, human resources professionals, safety directors, training directors, on-staff legal counsel, office managers and project managers to join us, and additional registrants from each company save $100 each. You really can’t afford not to attend,” Leonard added.

“Innovative ideas don’t come from thinking the same old way,” added Stephen Phillips, NRLRC counsel, “so, take a few days away from your office and experience our unique, informative, educational event in New York City.”
