Last fall, Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Metal Panels was given the opportunity to send panels to Haiti for Hurricane Relief through Cross Catholic International. Recently, they had the opportunity to help out again – this time in El Salvador. The company is sending two truckloads of panels and screws to El Salvador to provide shelter for people in the mountain regions that are regularly affected by torrential rains. The photo shows an example of a home in the region where the panels will be used by the people who live there to strengthen the structure of their home and keep the weather outside, where it belongs.
Metal Panels Inc thanks their partners who made this possible by also donating materials. They include Flack Global Metals, Kloechner Metals, Marco Industries and Triangle Fastener Corp. Without them, it would not be possible to make a difference on this scale.
Metal Panels Inc posted this on their Facebook page, “Many times as individuals, it is hard to decide what is the best way to donate some of your time, talent or treasure, so in this way we are fortunate to be in an industry that we can pool our resources together to make a difference to people who are in the greatest need.”
