Meet the Rio Grande Roofing Reps

Learn more about the faces behind United Asphalts' success in New Mexico and El Paso County, Texas. 

United Asphalts (UA) highlights outstanding individuals who uphold the company’s reputation for excellence in products and service. Recently, they introduced their exceptional representatives for New Mexico and El Paso County, Texas: the rep agency Rio Grande Roofing Reps.  

A lifelong resident of New Mexico and one of the few Certified Journeymen Roofers in the state, Justin Birrell is the owner of Rio Grande Roofing Reps. He assists and educates top roofing contractors, architects, building owners and distributors in New Mexico and El Paso County. Outside of his professional life, Justin is an avid outdoorsman and passionate elk hunter, bringing the same dedication and enthusiasm to his personal life as his work. 

Based in Alamogordo, Jorge Martinez joined Rio Grande Roofing Reps from the roofing distribution industry, which is where he began his career in the late 1990s. Jorge brings extensive product knowledge and bilingual skills to the UA team, covering southern New Mexico and the El Paso area. A devoted family man, Jorge enjoys reading scripture, walking, and building relationships with family and friends in his free time. 

Brendan Smith is the newest member of the Rio Grande Roofing Reps team, transitioning from the service industry with a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences. Although new to roofing, Brendan’s enthusiasm and commitment to learning are evident as he delivers top-notch service to United Asphalt’s clients. With a background in football, Brendan brings a team-oriented mindset, ensuring every order is executed to the highest standards.
